Arizona has made a late addition to its 2020 class today as junior college offensive lineman Sam Langi has pulled the trigger on a decision despite the ongoing dead period. The College of San Mateo standout offensive lineman is a three-to-play-two prospect who will still have his redshirt season available to him this season should Arizona opt to go that route. Finding some more help up front is certainly something the Wildcats had been working to do after evaluating things this offseason.

Langi is not someone who had a ton of recruiting attention as his only other offers were from Marshall and Albany, but he did earn some postseason accolades and his film shows some quality play during his sophomore season.

The addition of the 6-foot-5, 315-pound offensive lineman helps Arizona make up for the loss of a player like Bryson Cain who retired before the start of spring ball. Langi can help create some more depth up front for UA and he is someone who has experience so he could be plugged right into the rotation.

He is just the second junior college recruit for the Wildcats in the 2020 class joining tight end Stacey Marshall Jr. who is already on campus and participated in the first week of spring ball earlier in the month after arriving to UA as a midyear enrollee.
