Arizona has not been quick to make offers under Tommy Lloyd, so it's big news when the staff does decide to make a move. This afternoon the Wildcats have decided to offer five-star forward Kwame "KJ" Evans after having a chance to watch him during the spring live period. He is a Baltimore-area native who plays at Montverde in Florida. The fifth-ranked prospect in the 2023 class already released a top five three weeks ago that included Oregon, UCLA, Kentucky, Auburn and Indiana. Oregon has been the favorite to land the 6-foot-9 prospect, but I do expect UA to try and make a big push to land him now that it has offered.
“I want to make a decision right before the high school season. Not right after AAU, but sometime in that part where we don’t play, we just practice and stuff at our school before the high school season.”
