Late last night Arizona finally came through with an offer for five-star wing Kris Wilkes from Indianapolis-North Central. The five-star recruit who is currently at No. 17 overall is someone Sean Miller and his staff have been tracking since the spring evaluation period, but finally decided to offer last night. It honestly could be too late to get involved as Wilkes is already starting to give his list a closer look, but he has expressed some interest in coming out west and that is one reason UCLA has become a contender for him.
I watched Wilkes at the Under Armour stop in SoCal this spring and he is long and definitely talented. Although a bit thin he has a knack for getting to the basket and he could fit into Arizona's system in a few different ways.
