Arizona is going to end the spring official visit period with a bang as several prospects will be on campus this wee for visits. I already mentioned previously that in-state linebacker Malik Reed and Houston-based tight end Drake Dabney will be on campus this week, but now a few more prospects have locked in their trips as well.
Here's a look at the other recruits now expected in Tucson over the course of this week.
Notes: Wooten is fresh off an official visit to Missouri and he was tweeting about committing causing a lot of the attention to turn to the Tigers, but even with his trip to the SEC school going so well he is going to make an official visit to UA to wrap up the official visit period. He's got ties to Tucson and the Wildcats are very much in play in this one.
Other schools in play: Missouri, Texas Tech, SMU
Notes: An offer Arizona made less than two weeks ago and it is already turning into an official visit for the Georgia-based defensive lineman. He's got some prominent offers on his list with schools like Nebraska, Louisville, Virginia, Michigan State and South Carolina all being on his offer list up to this point. Black just took a visit to Tennessee a couple days ago as well.
Other schools in play: Nebraska, Georgia Tech
Notes: Arizona is not just focused on the offensive and defensive lines, although a lot of the focus lately has been on both groups, so bringing in a running back for a visit is not a huge shock. Brown will use his first official visit on a trip to Tucson as he makes the trek over from Houston. It will be interesting to see how difficult it is to get him out of Texas, but he has certainly been open to that possibility so Arizona could end up being in a good spot should he decide leaving home is the best option.
Other schools in play: Texas Tech, Houston, Arkansas
