I caught up with Arizona linebacker commit Josh Brown tonight to talk about his trip and coming out to Tucson this weekend. He said his main goal on his visit is going to be picking Scott Boone's brain and getting more familiar with him as a coach since their communication has mostly been through the phone.

I asked if he's thinking about other visits right now and he had this to say ... "The only trip I'm taking is Arizona and then I'll be going to Orlando for the USA game. I'm 100 percent Arizona all the way. There's no need to take any other trips or venture out. I know where I want to be and where I need to be."

He did offer up unsolicited that he does have conversations with Donté Williams still because they grew to be so close, but he said most of their conversations center around things not having to do with football for the most part.

Now recruits have lied before and have lied to me before, but he was pretty convincing about his recruitment so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt when it comes to being locked into his commitment. It sounds like he knows there will be that chance to play early at Arizona and maybe even start as a freshman and that is outweighing everything else that may potentially come in the next few weeks. January can mean crazy things in recruiting but for the moment he seems locked into his pledge.
