After a long Arizona career linebacker Cody Ippolito has decided to move on from the Wildcats for his final year. He has obviously battled through some serious knee injuries and is going through one right now that knocked him out for the season. He was always going to play another year, but it will not be at UA he just announced a few minutes ago.
Arizona is going to have a completely different look with its linebacker group as many of this season's contributors were seniors. Having a player like Ippolito around to make that transition from an older group to a younger group would have been a plus but now UA won't have that luxury.
For what it's worth, I still get the sense there will be some more turnover as things move forward for UA going into next season.
