Arizona went back to work this afternoon/evening as preparations for Saturday's game against UCLA continue. Here are five quick notes from today's practice.

* The biggest news of course was that Scooby Wright was back but don't expect to hear anything about him until Thursday's injury report from Rich Rodriguez. He declined to comment on the Wildcats' star linebacker outside but Wright looked to be moving well and not limited too much during the open portion of practice.

Rodriguez said the team will continue to monitor him as things move forward this week.

* While Wright was back there were a number of receivers not participating in practice today including Cayleb Jones, Samajie Grant, Trey Griffey and Tyrell Johnson. All four were in yellow jerseys and didn't do much during the open portion of practice.

* That meant it was Tony Ellison getting a lot of work with the first unit and he even stayed after getting some more work in with Anu Solomon. At this point I wouldn't count on any of those guys playing this weekend but there will be a couple more practices for them to try and give it a go.

* DeAndre' Miller was back and he didn't seem to be limited in anyway with that wrist injury he's been batting. Any help to Arizona's linebacker group is a boost right now and it looks like Miller has made some real progress.

* Luca Bruno was back working on a limited basis in practice today. He was in green but he was back with the first unit again at his tackle spot.
