Arizona is wrapping up the week with an evening practice tonight. It will likely end a little early but the open media portion is now over.

Here are five quick notes from tonight's open portion of practice.

* Trey Griffey was back as a full-go participant tonight. Arizona was using him a lot with the first unit in place of David Richards at times - the two switched off in that last receiver spot.

* With Jarvis McCall banged up and limited tonight it was DaVonte' Neal who got the call to go with the first group opposite Cam Denson ... although that is not a big surprise.

* A little bit of a surprise was Sammy Morrison (Jake Fischer's favorite recruit in the class) getting Neal's spot with the second unit over Devin Holiday at corner to go opposite Kwesi Mashack. I thought that was interesting and potentially telling.

* A couple injuries to tight ends moved Darrell Cloy up the depth chart for tonight so he was getting some work in with the second group.

* Your daily center battle report status is that today it was once again Cayman Bundage working with the first group as there was no sign of Carter Wood again tonight. That meant lots of Zach Hemmila at guard with the first group and David Catalano at center with the second unit.

I'll will pass along any other important info after practice and interviews are over.
