Arizona picked up its big commitment today from Jamari Williams, but earlier this week it made some new offers to keep an eye on as well. Arizona continues to work the junior college ranks and is still offering tight ends as well. Here's some more info on the two new offers this week.

Colorado commit Datona Jackson only gave his pledge to the Buffs a month ago, but Arizona likes what the junior college defensive end has to offer. USC offered shortly after Arizona did Wednesday, so he is certainly someone on the rise heading into the rest of the fall.

UCLA offered him shortly after he committed and he has remained open to hearing from other schools. So, it is one offer to keep a close watch on. UA also happened to offer him the week the Wildcats host Colorado.

"I'm down to check out their programs and see what they have to offer," Jackson told CUSportsNation.com when he committed. "I'm thinking about doing a medical degree and UCLA has one of top medical schools. I'd like to look and see what they have and see what the Florida schools are like."

ASU, Boise State, San Diego State and San Jose State are some of his other offers.

Arizona hasn't used its tight ends much this season outside of blocking, but the staff continues to look at options for now and in the future at the position. Gilbert-Perry High School standout tight end Kyle Patterson picked up his offer Tuesday night as the basketball team was doing its thing in its exhibition. The 6-foot-6 recruit is someone the staff has had its eye on for a while and finally decided to offer this week.

Oregon State and Syracuse are a couple of his other Power Five offers with Air Force, NAU and San Diego State being some of his other offers. He already visited Oregon State this season, but he has remained open to waiting to see what his other options are. I would expect the Wildcats to stay in the mix here as the staff seems to be pretty adamant that it will add a tight end in this class. The offer came from Noel Mazzone as well so it's not like it is another coach making the offer without consulting him first.

I have not seen Patterson in person, but I do know there have been a lot of positive things said from people I have talked to about him as a player. He's a basketball player as well and has a lot of athleticism.
