It's almost time for another weekend of high school football, but before that happens we have to take a look back at last week and some of the top performers among UA's current commits. Some players are already getting their weeks underway tonight, so lets get right to it.

Update: The Arizona quarterback commit and his team from St. Pius X took on Bellaire-Episcopal last week, and it was another big night for Gunnell. He finished a 42-0 win over Episcopal with 444 passing yards to go with two passing touchdowns and two rushing scores. His team is taking on Manor HS tonight.

Update: Watson's team has still not supplied any stats, but Edison lost to Dinuba 30-7. His team will face Madera (Calif.) Madera South this week.

Update: Roland and his Knight squad are now 3-1 after a 28-21 victory over Quartz Hill last week. The UA cornerback commit continues to have a strong showing on the offensive side of the ball as he accounted for three of the touchdowns in the game. He had three receiving touchdowns on six catches for 188 yards. He had a couple tackles on defense. His team will play Lancaster High School this week.

Update: Wiley has put together a strong season at Strake Jesuit and it continued last week with another good performance against Eisenhower of Houston. The three-star pledge rushed for 73 yards and a couple touchdowns on 16 carries in the 34-3 victory. He also had one catch for 18 yards in the win. Strake Jesuit has the week off and will return to action next week.

Update: Johnson and his Roosevelt squad earned a road win against Rancho Mirage. The UA wideout came up with an injury so there are no stats to report for him, but his team has the week off so he will get some time to heal before Roosevelt takes on Corona High next week.

Update: After his game the week before was cancelled, Bradford's game with Skyline against Arlington-Sam Houston went on as scheduled and he had himself a nice performance. Bradford checked in with a few tackles and came up with a sack as well. This week his team is playing Lake Highlands High School from Dallas.

Update: Arizona's other Dallas-area commit took on Wilmer-Hutchins last week and came away with the 56-12 victory to move to 2-1 on the year. The versatile linebacker commit finished the game with six tackles. South Oak Cliff will take on Red Oak this Friday.

Update: Morgan's Marana squad dropped its first game of the season last week. Morgan had an impressive game and we were there to watch it. The big offensive tackle did his job all night long and showed some great footwork. He's pretty advanced for a high school senior and it will be important for the Wildcats to keep him on board with USC now in pursuit.

Update: Leone has opened its season but as of now there have been no stats or updates provided on Siaumau's senior year as of yet.

Update: St. Thomas More opened its season against Nordrhein-Westfalen Green Machine from Dusseldorf, Germany and last week it was Choate Rosemary Hall on the other sideline. Gaines had himself a couple tackles in what turned out to be a 31-6 loss. His team is off this week and will play next Saturday against St. Joseph's.

Update: Ostendorp's Desert Vista team beat North High School from Phoenix 63-7 last week to remain undefeated. At this point there are no punting stats for Ostendorp. This week his team will take on Highland High School in Gilbert.
