Jake Burton, who plans on visiting Arizona next month and making his decision shortly after, might have to change some plans now. The El Cajon (Calif.) Granite Hills recruit picked up a UCLA offer today and that could put a quick end to things now. We'll see how it plays into it but that is a big offer for him if it sticks. I like the foundation he has, but he is still a project to me and likely wouldn't be playing anytime soon at UCLA.
His technique needs some work, so I think he's a few years away from being a factor at the college level if he ends up at a bigger program. I watched him at the Rivals Camp in SoCal last month.
