Former Arizona and NFL linebacker Tedy Brucshi is recovering after suffering a stroke Thursday. The 46-year-old ESPN analyst "recognized the warning signs immediately" his family said via a statement made by his foundation, Tedy's Team. Bruschi had a stroke back in 2005 and was diagnosed shortly after with a congenital heart defect.

The latest stroke was what is categorized as a TIA and is not as serious as the stroke he had back when he was 31.

"Tedy is recovering well, and would like to thank the nurses, doctors and staff at Sturdy Memorial Hospital for all they have done," the family said in its statement. "Tedy and his family thank you for your ongoing encouragement, and kindly ask for privacy at this time."
