If the program being under investigation going public today wasn't enough, Arizona head coach Sean Miller confirmed that starting guard Brandon Williams is out indefinitely with the knee injury that he suffered in the loss to UCLA a little over a week ago. The freshman guard warmed up but did not play against Arizona State last week in what turned into an overtime loss to the Sun Devils.

The Wildcats are in the midst of a three-game slide after losing both games in Los Angeles on the road before falling to ASU last week. UA has lost four of its last five games and welcomes the Washington schools to McKale Center this week.

Washington is currently the top team in the Pac-12 with an undefeated record in conference play. The Huskies and Wildcats will only meet once in the regular season and at this point Williams will not play.

Miller announced the news during his weekly radio show, The Sean Miller Radio Show, tonight.

“He’s going to be sidelined indefinitely right now with his knee,” Miller said. “We’re hopeful that we can get him back at some point, but right now we’re not going to be able to have him ready to play this week.”

The UA head coach didn't sound optimistic about the situation with Williams' knee, which is the same knee that had issues forcing him to miss his entire junior season in high school.

"It's going to be hard for us to win a game with I think the limitations that we have at the moment," Miller said after last week's game against ASU. "We have to keep working and get better, have great days of practice and individual players have to keep improving."

Miller is set to meet with the media Tuesday to discuss this week's games.
