The saga of Puff Johnson looked like it was over when his dad told a local newspaper that the decision had been made and his son would be staying in the class of 2020. However, this week at the Peach Jam the story has already changed. Johnson and his father have said the chance at reclassifying remains open and Arizona is one of the schools at the forefront of trying to make it happen. Johnson will have to decide soon, and it is clear that the chances of it actually happening are not fantastic, but the fact that the door is not closed is good for the Wildcats.
Rivals.com's Corey Evans caught up with Johnson in South Carolina to talk about everything going on right now and you can hit that link below to read the story. It paints a good picture of where things stand with him. Ultimately, I don't think he ends up reclassifying but with that door still being open there's at least a chance.
