I just watched them beat ASU tonight. But boy was I impressed by the effort and hustle the Arizona ladies were playing with. Sprinting full speed ahead up court in transition, Sprinting up behind ASU players with the ball and making a steal, just high effort play after high effort play by them. Giving literally everything they have. Being outsized, out talented, not as much depth and all, they could have had any excuse to give up or wear down, but I saw nothing of the sort. Was just very impressed how Barnes has this team playing and feel real good about what she'll be able to do once she gets some size, talent and depth built in the next few years. You can also tell, all the players are engadged and listening to her and wanna compete for her.
Also I think it might have been good for Millers team to watch the ladies and the effort they were giving and maybe take some notes. Just wanted to share this because I was thoroughly impressed!!!
