Arizona has offered 2018 Arizona Western (Yuma) defensive end/linebacker Mar'Quess Daniels today. The 6-foot-4, 245-pound prospect has three other offers including Arizona State, Washington State and Arkansas State. Daniels is from Connecticut but was a non-qualifier so he had to go through a junior college first and last season he racked up 40 tackles and seven sacks for the AWC defense. He has already seen ASU a couple times this spring, so it will be important for UA to get him out since he is not too far from campus. It will be something to watch as Arizona looks to a couple guys from that Arizona Western defense.
Azur Kamara was already joking about the duo being a package deal when Daniels picked up the offer today.
Daniels will have three years to play two and he has picked things up in the classroom so he is currently on pace to graduate in December making him an even more attractive option to college programs.
