Arizona wrapped up day six of spring practice and the defense continues to impress as they get a better understanding of Johnny Nansen's 4-2-5 defensive system.
Some quick notes from day 6:
- Noah Fifita finally had a bad day of practice, the freshman has been incredible to watch for most of spring and has shown off his arm. But on Wednesday Fifita struggled with timing and overthrowing his receivers.
- Nansen and DeWayne Walker both noted that the nickel position is a tight race between Gunner Maldonado and DJ Warnell. Both have had great moments and are playing at a high-level.
- Running backs Drake Andreson and Stevie rocker were still out and working on the sideline as they try to get back to full health.
