Arizona has offered 2017 OT/DL Nick Ford from San Pedro, California tonight. Jim Michalczik went and watched him over the weekend in California and liked what he saw. Ford was a one-time Nevada commit but he decided to open it up and that is about the time Arizona became involved. Michalczik wanted to see him in person first before offering.
He already used an official visit on a trip to Montana, but he said the rest will have to take place after his season. Cal is one program that is starting to get involved too, but from the sounds it from our discussion tonight the Arizona offer is one that will have him thinking a bit. He said right now he is being recruited as a left tackle, but Arizona has said it will continue to evaluate him as a defensive line option as well. He plays on both sides of the ball for San Pedro.
