It's not unfathomable to think about right now if Arizona is able to split these next two. Oregon looks very beatable with Burmeister in there. It could change if Herbert comes back by then, but for now it looks like a young team relying on a lot of young guys. Oregon State is Oregon State and while the ASU defense is getting plenty of acclaim I'm still not sold on that being a good team. And, the Territorial Cup always means all bets are off anyway. So let's say Arizona wins next week and then loses on the road to USC ... 9-3 seems very doable and that is just remarkable to think about from where this team was projected before the season.
A lot has hinged on the growth of the young defense in addition to a true difference maker at QB - both things that were mysteries (somewhat) before the start of the season. It's a long way from getting to that point but it not as crazy to think about which is pretty unreal.
Tony Fields II tweeted today that he will be back on the field this week and reports are that Wilson should be OK. Still waiting to hear on Wilborn and Boles and those are important, but we're sitting on an interesting time right now.
