Arizona has some ties to Georgia and decided to bring in some prospects from the area for visits this weekend as one of the big 7v7 tournaments is taking place in Phoenix. Sophomore athlete Joseph Stone Jr. picked up an offer from the Wildcats during his trip to see the campus down in Tucson. He is already well on his way to being one of the most recruited prospects in the his class even though the 2024 cycle is still a couple years away. He plays quarterback and receiver, but right now the Wildcats are looking at him as a receiver. He's an elusive athlete with some real speed, and it will be interesting to see if the Wildcats can make some inroads with him since it is still so early in the process.
He has nearly two dozen offers at this stage with schools such as Georgia, Michigan, Penn State, LSU, Pittsburgh, Florida, Ole Miss and Arkansas already involved. Utah is the only other Pac-12 school that has offered Stone so far.
