Colorado quarterback Brayden Dorman just released his top 5 a few minutes ago, and as expected Arizona has made the cut. The 6-foot-5 junior signal caller from Vista Ridge High School in Colorado Springs also included Colorado, Oregon State, Mississippi State and Iowa State. Arizona is one school on the list that Dorman has not yet visited, but that is expected to happen toward the end of January. The four-star recruit is planning to make a decision in February, so he is already at the final stages of the process. He took a bunch of visits earlier in the year, and he has a good handle on where he wants to go. The biggest competition for the schools involved is Oregon State. He visited Corvallis during the season and is planning to head back there with his mother in January.
The Beavers have certainly gained momentum as the team to beat, but there is genuine intrigue in Arizona and he wants to see Tucson before making a decision. A really good visit with UA could change the process.
He threw for 2,765 yards and 30 touchdowns passing against eight interceptions in 2021. He also tacked on two rushing scores this season.
In his career, the four-star prospect has amassed just over 6,500 yards passing and 67 touchdowns.
Here's some more info on the decision tonight.
