2023 RECRUITING: Top-35 guard KJ Lewis (El Paso-Chapin HS)

For the second time this season Arizona has made the trip down to El Paso to check in on four-star wing KJ Lewis at Chapin HS. Tonight it was Tommy Lloyd who made the trek down I-10 to see the 31st-ranked recruit in the 2023 class. UA has not yet offered Lewis but Lloyd seeing him in person is an important part of the evaluation process. Lewis had 16 points in the game as his team earned a 77-35 win.

He previously announced a top 12 that included UCLA, Texas, Alabama, Baylor, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Arkansas, SMU, UTEP, Ole Miss, Memphis and Houston. However, he has been clear that he's open to other programs as well still despite his shortened list.
