Just wanted to alert you to a couple junior college offensive linemen Arizona is interested in right now. As much as high school and transfer players have dominated the recruiting scene as of late, junior college prospects are still out there and could provide teams with some immediate help. As the offensive line transfers have been a bit difficult to nab so far for UA, there are a couple junior college offensive linemen the coaching staff has its eye on as of late. Both are players you should know about since it is possible Arizona ends up offering them here soon as it continues the evaluation process.

The first prospect to know about is Kilgore College (Kilgore, Texas) offensive tackle Wallace Unamba who is starting to see things pick up again after seeing some offers come through earlier in the year. Maryland is his biggest offer but schools such as UTEP, UMass and Texas Southern were involved early. The Miners are the last school to offer him, but he has jumped on Arizona's radar as of late. He's a sophomore, academically, who still has a redshirt season available and three seasons of eligibility. Right now he is listed at 6-foot-5 and 320 pounds but the word is he is closer to 335. He was a second-team NJCAA All-American selection last season, and he earned an honorable mention nod this season. Arizona has not yet offered him, but he is someone to pay attention to as there does seem to be quite a bit of interest from the Wildcats.

Joe Borjon (Mt. San Antonio College)

Out in California, Joseph Borjon has piqued Arizona's interest. He is another left tackle right now with a few seasons of eligibility. The 6-foot-8, 330-pound lineman has started to gain some recruiting steam as of late, but it has mostly been smaller programs taking a chance on offering him as he is a bit under the radar. Dixie State, Stephen F. Austin and Missouri State are the schools that have been involved, but it sounds like he has the Wildcats intrigued. Borjon has really impressive size and athleticism fitting the profile of what the Wildcats are looking for right now up front. Mt. SAC is one of the top junior college programs in California so he is getting good coaching and has experience playing good competition. Junior college prospects represent a bit of a departure from the plan for Arizona, but Borjon and Unamba are two recruits to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.
