Arizona has obviously prioritized Texas under Kevin Sumlin and that will continue to be the case as long as he is the Wildcats head coach. So, it should come as no surprise that more offers are continuing to go out in that state as the program begins to turn its attention to the 2022 class. Arizona offered a couple more recruits from the Lone Star State within the last 24 hours and here's a closer look at the new UA targets.

Other notable offers: Arizona State, Colorado, Oregon, Oregon State, USC, Utah, Auburn, Baylor, Florida State, LSU, Nebraska, Oklahoma, SMU

Rundown: The big offensive lineman from Duncanville High in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is an intriguing prospect who has plenty of raw ability and it has college programs interested. The Rivals250 recruit already holds a ton of big offers and now Arizona has decided to enter the mix after offering him Wednesday evening. Williams has impressive size at about 6-foot-6 and 320 pounds and his strength certainly shows up on film. It's clear he is going to need some more time to develop and refine his skill set, but the upside with him is absolutely there. He is an imposing force at right tackle for Duncanville and there are moments when he simply tosses defenders aside with ease.

Earning his pledge will be no small task for area recruiter Stan Eggen and offensive line coach Kyle DeVan but the Wildcats are hopeful they can begin to make some inroads with him as the process plays out. At this point he has not tipped his hand when it comes to any early leaders although he will have plenty options around the country including several already in the Pac-12.

Other notable offers: Colorado, Florida, LSU, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M, Kentucky, Missouri, Minnesota, Georgia Tech

Rundown: Another Texas prospect Arizona offered within the last day is an impressive defensive back from Plano who already has some big offers on the table as well as a junior in high school. Brooks has strong bloodlines as the son of former NFL player Chet Brooks who played for the San Francisco 49ers in the 1980s after a successful career at Texas A&M. The high three-star defensive back has made his own name and his skills on the field have attracted some of the top programs in the country. Brooks is naturally a cornerback but he could play safety at the next level.

There has been a constant stream of offers for the John Paul II standout this summer with UA being just the latest Power Five program to enter the mix.

Brooks put together an impressive junior season and finished with nearly 50 tackles to go along with three interceptions, a sack and nine pass breakups.

“I just bring a dog mentality to the table, always want to dominate, be a leader, help out others,” Brooks recently told Orangebloods.com. “I think I’m advanced with my skills, athletic, fast, explosive. I have long arms, good reach. Something I want to work on is basically more zone coverage. I prefer man, like to press up.”

Arizona will have its work cut out for it moving ahead in his recruitment, but Brooks is remaining open about the schools on his list. He is not tied to staying home and going to a school in Texas nor is he tied to picking his dad's alma mater despite the Aggies making him a priority already. That is positive news for the Wildcats as the coaching staff eventually attempts to pull him to the desert. For now Brooks is going to take his time with the process and he doesn't plan on making his choice known until potentially 2022.

“I’m really not going to make an early decision,” Brooks said. “I’m looking forward to committing next year, or after my senior season is over with. Mostly, all my offers grab my attention. For me, staying home in Texas really doesn’t matter. I will go anywhere in the nation where I can play.

"The things that will mater will be education, obviously, relationship with the coaching staff, relationship with some of the players on the field, just the football program itself and how good it is and how good it’s going to get.”

UA running backs coach AJ Steward will lead the recruitment of Brooks for the Wildcats.
