Well you just got it ... but it comes with a caveat. Arizona has just landed a commitment from USC nose tackle Noah Jefferson who decided to transfer after playing in just one game with the Trojans last year. The 6-foot-6, 315-pound defensive lineman has struggled with a bit of injury, a bit of academic issues and just not cracking the rotation but he did have 25 tackles as a freshman and played in 12 games for the Trojans.

As far as his eligibility goes we'll see what happens. Right now he still has a redshirt available to him, but he only played in that one game last season and was injured for a lot of it. The thinking is Arizona could use last year as a medical redshirt year and get him eligible immediately. These things have not quite worked out in Arizona's favor so we'll see what happens. If he can't get eligible to play immediately he would sit out and have two years left to play. He does have a decent case but academics also played a part in him missing time so we'll see if that hurts his case at all.

Jefferson has a ton of upside and Arizona will always make sure to check everything out before going forward with a situation like this. Things checked off so Jefferson will be Tucson bound.

Jefferson was rated No. 52 in the 2015 Rivals100 and was the top recruit in Nevada that year and the No. 6 overall defensive tackle.
