This year Arizona, of course, has the loaded Maui Invitational that it will play in and now next year the Wildcats have been added to the list of teams playing in the Wooden Legacy event in California next November as the tournament of choice for Sean Miller.

The UA head coach likes to play in an exempt tournament every season and the Wooden Legacy is one the Wildcats have played in before. It used to take place in the Honda Center, but now it is at Cal State Fullerton at Titan Gym, which is a smaller venue. The event is typically held during Thanksgiving Weekend.

If you remember, the Wooden Legacy event is the one that was not exactly kind to UA the last time the Wildcats were in it. It was the year UA went to overtime with Santa Clara and Kaleb Tarczewski got hurt before the 'Cats lost to Providence in that 2015-16 season.
