For all the ways it could have gone, Arizona receives what looks like a favorable spot in the bracket as the Wildcats are given a No. 3 seed in the "Mercado" Region and will open in their first NCAA Tournament since 2005 against 14th-seeded Stony Brook. The winner of that matchup will face the winner of a matchup between 6-seed Rutgers and No. 11 seed BYU. If UA gets past those two teams a likely matchup with No. 2 seed Texas A&M awaits while NC State is the No. 1 seed in the Mercado Region.
