Elijah Rushing is the top priority on the board for Arizona, and the local four-star edge rusher recently made the short trip down the road to Arizona for an official visit with his hometown school. Things went well on the visit, and the Wildcats continue to trend in the right direction in his recruitment. There is a clear comfort level for Rushing with the program, and the visit only expanded his feelings on that.
"For me it was amazing just to look a little bit more in the city. I know I'm from here, but there are aspects I haven't seen of the city. Just to go around and see all that, and then just to be with great people overall it was just amazing for me to experience."
Troy caught up with Rushing to discuss the visit and where things stand overall heading into his last official visit of the process this week. He's set on making a decision after this weekend's trip to Tennessee, and he is expecting to commit to a school within the coming weeks.
