Ohio State is holding a press conference today to talk about the future of Thad Matta and the word right now is that the upcoming season will be his last and he will retire after that. Obviously there is history there with Sean Miller but the word continues to be that UNC is the job to watch. I wouldn't say that necessarily rules out Ohio State completely but at this point it is not something to be concerned about especially since the thinking is the decision won't have to come until next year. The other issue is that Archie is in the Big Ten now and I'm not convinced he would want to go head to head with his brother for recruits and on the court every year.
I've still heard UNC or NBA are the options that get him out of Tucson, but we'll see. Just wanted to get out ahead of this one since the questions will come. Not something to scoff at but not a real threat at this point either.
