Arizona has continued to turn its attention to recruiting in the weeks since the end of spring practice. The team will soon be hosting players on campus for visits and camps leading into the next phase of the process for the Wildcats. For now more offers continue to go out with the delayed spring seasons for many players across the country coming to an end. There is now current game film available to college coaches allowing decisions about offers to be made. Here's a look at the latest offers that have gone out from Arizona in recent days with a focus on the 2022 and 2024 classes.

Other offers: Arizona State, UNLV, Fresno State, Colorado State, Liberty, Cornell, Yale

Rundown: Arizona newest offer is one of its most intriguing in the class. Jason "JT" Thompson put together a strong season at Harvard Westlake HS in California this spring as he finished with 28 catches for 565 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. He totaled 924 all-purpose yards as a junior. Thompson recently posted his highlights from the shortened season and Arizona offered shortly after this weekend. He has some intriguing ties back to Arizona as he is the grandson of former standout running back Bobby Lee Thompson and the son of former Arizona State basketball star Bobby Thompson. The two schools are his first two Power Five offers in the process. ASU offered the 6-foot receiver last summer, and since then he has continued to stack offers from other programs around the country. He has expressed plenty of interest in playing in the Pac-12 as a West Coast prospect, so he will be one to watch closely with his ties to UA. Receivers coach Kevin Cummings will lead the recruitment for the Wildcats. While it is still relatively early in the process for Thompson, Arizona should remain as one of the programs strongly in the mix moving forward. He shows a strong playmaking ability on tape and is capable of impacting the game on special teams as well. He has the size to be moved around a bit as well. He is also a track athlete with impressive speed for the position as well.

Other offers: Washington State (OV - June 18), Nebraska (OV - June 4), Penn State, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Virginia, Kansas State, Texas Tech, TCU, Iowa, Indiana, Vanderbilt + more

Rundown: Kansas isn't typically thought of as a hotbed for top-level talent, and it's not an area Arizona has been used to recruiting at the high school level. However, three-star athlete recruit Jaren Kanak is already sitting with nearly two dozen offers as a junior with options all across the country. The Hays High School standout prospect has been on the rise this spring and Arizona is one of the latest programs to get involved with an offer to the 6-foot-2 recruit. It is just the second Pac-12 program to offer, but he has already scheduled an official visit to see the other one, Washington State, in person. He has a mix of Ivy League offers as well as offers from Group of Five programs included as well. The list of Power Five offers is wide ranging and impressive. Penn State, Virginia, Wisconsin and Kentucky have all offered him within the last week in addition to the offer from UA. Kanak is another prospect who also runs track and that has helped him gain some more attention from college football programs. Kanak plays all over the field but is likely to be a linebacker in college. The process is still in the early stages, but the three-star recruit is already starting to look at his visits so the Wildcats could have to move quickly to catch up to the rest of the group.

"I've been thinking about official visits and I'm trying to narrow it down right now," Kanac said this week. "Pretty much the only two visits I have right now are to Nebraska and Washington State. I have an unofficial to Clemson on June 1 as well. I'm just trying to fit in some other schools at this point. With a decision, it's probably too far down the road to think about that. I'm just focused on deciding what schools I want to see."

Other offers: Arizona State

Rundown: The Wildcats have been active getting out offers to underclassmen under Jedd Fisch and this week the focus has remained on in-state recruits in the future classes. Scottsdale-Saguaro running back Jaedon Matthews has been on a tear this spring in various camp appearances and it has grabbed the attention of Arizona's coaches. Scottie Graham connected with Matthews last week and decided to offer the 5-foot-11 standout back. Arizona State jumped in with an offer to Matthews last year making the first two offers in his recruitment Power Five offers from in-state programs. His stock is only going to continue to rise, so getting in this early is an important step for the Wildcats. Speed is where Matthews stands out on tape and has an elusive quality to his game. He is going to end up as one of the top prospects in the state when all is said and done, so it is an important offer for Arizona to make at this stage.

Other offers: N/A

Rundown: Sticking with the theme of in-state recruiting, Arizona decided to become the first program to offer Phoenix-Brophy Prep defensive end Mardale Rowe over the weekend. Fisch and the staff have been eager to break into Brophy Prep and have not had a ton of success up to this point, but getting in first with someone like Rowe could be a long-term solution to changing that. The 6-foot-3 prospect put together a strong sophomore season and has continued to make progress this spring. While his commitment decision is likely at least a year away, he is still someone to get to know since in-state recruiting is going to be a major priority for the current UA staff. Ricky Hunley is going to lead the recruitment for UA and the focus is to have him play along the defensive line in the future, but he has plenty of potential as a big running back as well. Being able to play those two positions effectively gives some insight into his athletic ability. He's disruptive as a defensive end with a knack for shedding blocks and making plays in the back field. he certainly has a lot of potential and should continue to see strong college interest as he moves ahead in his recruitment.
