I have been critical of Sumlin at times this season but I have to give him props on this recruiting class. I see all the rankings panning our class but I think he addressed our exact needs by prioritizing and zeroing in on some areas that have bedeviled us for years. How many times did we hear RichRod saying we had to get some grown men on the lines? Was ultimately to little or no avail for whatever reason. Sumlin targeted grown men on both lines and brought in two on each side of the line of scrimmage. We had a gaping hole due to injury at a cornerback spot and he got a kid who looks like he can come in and play right away in Wolfe. Same with receiver and Curry. I don't know if it will happen or not but this recruiting effort reminds me of Tomey in 92, bringing in guys from the JC ranks like Akil Jackson, Brant Boyer and Troy Dickey among others leading to one of the great eras in Arizona football.
