I'm in Pasadena for Arizona's first true road game of the season as they take on UCLA tonight. The Wildcats are going for their first win over the Bruins of the Rich Rodriguez era. The big story this week is of course the injuries.
Here is your first update of the game on injuries. I told you earlier in the week that Nick Wilson was practicing and today for early warm ups he was out with his football pants on but no shoulder pads. It could be some more posturing by the 'Cats but that is different than last week when he was just in shorts and a T-shirt. We'll see what it means, but I still would be a bit surprised if he didn't give it a go tonight. And like I said before even if they want to limit his carries I just don't think it happens. If he's good enough to get one carry Rodriguez won't be afraid to ride him.
