- Tinkle hits a 3-pointer after a missed dunk from Brandon Randolph; Ayton hits a jumper to stop the bleeding and get Arizona some momentum; Randolph with a breakaway dunk to cut the lead in half and get the McKale Center crowd back into it; Ayton gets the loose ball after Randolph loses his handle and for an easy bucket cutting into the Oregon State lead; Eubanks knocks one in, but Ristic responds with a jump hook assist goes to Randolph. - Hollins picks up an offensive rebound off of an awkward bounce and hits a short jumper. Trier hits a three and Miller calls a time out. Tinkle takes Akot to the cup from the top of the key for a lay up. Offensive foul on Ayton, he had a smaller defender on him but pushed off with his off hand; Manuel makes him pay on the other hand with a lay up of his own. Ristic drops in an easy lay in off of a very nice feed from Smith. Tinkle buries another two points, he’s off to a hot start leading all scorers thus far. Another push off that ends an Arizona offensive possession early this time committed by Trier. Hello Ira Lee, he finishes a pass from Dylan Smith with a big two handed dunk in transition drawing a foul, and-one is good. - Dylan Smith rises up for a big one handed dunk and is stuffed at the rim. Trier hits his second from three point land bringing the Cats within one. Time out Beavers, Arizona is on a 6-0 run and just forced another turnover after a tough defensive stand. Not much to talk about in the last 3:11 of the first half. Two great defensive possessions in a row for the Cats, Ayton catches a forced pass to the block finding PJC in transition who then finds Trier who posterizes a Beaver defender. Three turnovers forced in a row for the Cats, Rawle Alkins with a highlight reel two handed rock the cradle reverse jam igniting McKale; time out Oregon State. - Great play call, Beavers come out of the time out with a three point answer to quiet the crowd momentarily. An Arizona missed shot leads to a Oregon State tip in on offense putting the Beavers back on top by a possession. Eubanks hits another, Ayton answers with a lay up on the other end. Parker Jackson-Cartwright with a nice pass to Trier in transition for an easy lay up. Ayton drops in a put back literally, Wildcats back up one. Rawle puts the ball on the floor and finishes with a left handed lay up. Trier ruins the perfect streak after missing his second of two shots on a weak technical foul called on Eubanks. Rawls Alkins hits a corner three and the Cats are running away with this. Trier hits another three and leads all scorers with 19 on the night. Oregon State responds with a three ball of their own from Tinkle who has 18 tonight leading all Beaver players. Thompson Jr. hits a lay up, Trier at the line for two and hits them both. The Wildcats clean up their offense in the second half against a stingy Oregon State squad.
