Oklahoma just lost its running backs coach today as Jay Boulware will be heading to Texas. That means there's an opening in Norman and one of the names that is already being brought up as a candidate is Arizona's DeMarco Murray. The former NFL All-Pro running back is heading into his second season with the Wildcats and has been successful so far in his brief coaching career both on the field and as a recruiter.

He obviously has ties to the Sooners as an alum and there is a belief that he will be high on the list for his alma mater. It'll be something to watch. I'm still getting a read on the situation but the feeling up to now has been that he wants to get enough experience at UA to get an NFL job eventually. However, the allure of a high-profile program like Oklahoma might change that.

It'll be something to keep an eye on.
