Arizona finally has its first 2019 commit from Southern California and Demetrice Martin finally has his first pledge at UA with Jalen Johnson coming off the board to the Wildcats over offers from Utah, Oregon State, Colorado State and New Mexico. He's still got some things he'll need to improve on but he's got good speed already to go with good size – 6-foot-3. It's a nice base for the coaching staff to mold around and develop in the coming years. The staff wants its receiving group to be big across the board and this is a nice start.
I like this get and he's someone the staff can stash away for a bit and get him ready to go in a couple years. He has a chance to be very good when all is said and done. He has a lot of the things you can't teach right now and most coaching staffs will take that any day of the week.
