Hey guys, today has ended with the Wildcats finishing their first scrimmage of camp and I wanted to jump and and share some quick takes from the day.
Quick takes:
Rayshon Luke - One of the guys that have improved this training camp is Rayshon Luke. Luke hasn't gotten a lot of touches, but when he does he has made the most out of them. In the scrimmage today, he ripped off a 67-yard run from the one-yard line. Fisch talked about how he needs to improve ball security to see the field more.
Jackson Holman - I don't think receiver Jackson Holman will see the field this season. However, Holman has some of the best hands on the team and scored a touchdown at the scrimmage today. He has a bright future with the Wildcats.
Red zone - The Wildcats went 4-for-4 in the red zone today with the starting offense going 2-for-2. A lot of that was running the ball and the offensive line got great leverage up from allowing Coleman to power it in. Massive steps in the right direction.
We'll have more from camp here shortly.
