Matt
It seems that although JJ appears to be obviously thicker and able to handle more pounding he isn't as flexible, fast and dynamic as he appeared last year even when going thru the interior gaps. I know they said he is faster but is he quicker difference being making people miss before bursting. Do you think RR will see this and allow him to thin up knowing he has a stable of backs?
Why have we not used Tilford more is he hurt and if he isn't I assume he knows that he will be Wilson's replacement next year so is he ok being an early arrival expecting a larger role and not getting it? He was intent on playing early so is he mature enough to handle the situation?
I have the same question about Brightwell all we heard during camp was about how dynamic he was breaking ankles to the point where RR said he will play! Currently all the reps are going to Shun. Tyrell has been solid but is not dynamic just flat fast but these kids like Brightwell need some game experience to develop and learn.
My answer to myself on the two freshman is that RR feels more comfortable with them not making blocking mistakes or other missed assignments and I get the trust factor but like anything in life there is no better teacher than experience.
Thanks...
