I mentioned three-star receiver Dezmon Patmon earlier today in my breakdown of recruits to keep an eye on and I had a nice conversation with him tonight about his recruitment and where things are headed at this point. The 6-foot-4 prospect said from what he knows Tony Dews will be out to see him within the next week at some point and he expects to earn his offer from Arizona after that.
At this point he said what he has heard from Rod Smith sounds promising and he anticipates the Wildcats being the next school to offer. He told me the offer will definitely shake up his recruitment once it comes in and is official and Arizona would jump right into the mix for his commitment at that point.
Patmon caught 43 passes, 873 yards and 14 touchdowns at San Diego (Calif.) Patrick Henry. I like his upside ... an under-the-radar type playmaker.
