Arizona has jumped into the recruitment of Las Vegas-Bishop Gorman receiver Trech Kekahuna tonight. The Wildcats are the latest school from the Pac-12 to offer him after he previously committed to Wisconsin. The word as of late had been that he was ready to back away from that pledge amid the coaching transition there, and he made that official on Thursday. Oregon, Washington State, ASU and Utah have all offered him in the last month.

He's had a standout senior season at Gorman that has grabbed plenty of attention. He'd be a nice fit for UA as a slot guy, but this is potentially going to be a pretty big challenge for UA. Oregon has been the heavy favorite since offering even when he was still committed to the Badgers. He hasn't yet made that call, so that means there is still time to make a move.

Kekahuna is originally from Honolulu and still very much has a connection to Hawaii. Arizona's connections to the state should only help the Wildcats in their pursuit of him, and it will be interesting to see if the staff can get him out on a visit before he decides. I'd expect Oregon to try and push him to make a decision before he can visit any other schools but he has seemed content when I've spoken with him to take his time.

Malachi Riley is very much still in the picture for the Wildcats as well, so there could be more receiver depth added before this class is finished. The staff is hopeful that it can add at least one more receiver in this class but would certainly be open to both players should they want to come to UA.
