T.J. Leaf visited Arizona for the Red-Blue game last weekend and the Wildcats made some significant progress with that trip for the 2016 five-star forward. At this point things are really starting to heat up - as they have been since the trip ended - and after talking to multiple sources this evening it is clear that Arizona and Florida are at the top of the list.
The Wildcats have made Leaf the top priority in the 2016 class and his most recent visit went a long way for Sean Miller and his staff. I'm hearing that there is still work to be done for Arizona to get that commitment, but it has made a lot of progress over the last week.
The El Cajon, Calif., prospect said in the summer that he was likely planning to make a decision in the spring, but it really is starting to look like it will come sooner than that. He had planned to visit Duke this weekend and right now it sounds like that will be a no-go this weekend. Indiana, UCLA, and others have been involved with Leaf.
