As the full transition of attention to the 2020 class continues, Arizona has remained steady with new offers lately. There have been more offers extended this week with a few more prospects in the 2020 class adding the Wildcats to their lists. UA continues to be strategic with its offers and not necessarily recruit to the rankings or prospects that have long offer lists. One thing that has been different about this week's offers is the areas where they have gone out.

This coaching staff has not been afraid to get into some areas not typically explored by the previous staff and a couple of the new offers went out in those places. Here's a look at the recruits to receive the latest offers from UA's staff.

The newest offer went out to the 6-foot-4 defensive lineman from Grant Union in California. The Wildcats have been making the rounds in Northern California this week with Kevin Sumlin and John Rushing making stops at several schools in the area the last couple days. Grant Union typically has solid prospects and Arizona became the first school to offer the 2020 defensive lineman Wednesday. Norman-Lott is close with UA freshman defensive back Maurice Gaines Jr., so there is a connection there.

Norman-Lott is a versatile prospect who could play anywhere on the line. He had 45 tackles, 10 sacks and two forced fumbles in his junior season at Grant Union. His versatility and speed really stand out on film. There are times when he is used on the interior and other times when he is used as a standup defensive end. It is a solid offer for the Wildcats and UA should be able to remain in a good spot even as more schools are likely to enter the picture.

The Sacramento area is not one of the new places we mentioned Arizona dipping into, but Tennessee is. That's where the Wildcats made another new offer this week as four-star, Rivals250 defensive end Jay Hardy added the program to his list. The 6-foot-5 prospect from Chattanooga is currently rated as the 213th-best recruit in the 2020 class and he has the offer list to back it up. He now has over two dozen offers to his name with programs like LSU, Georgia, Florida, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Stanford, Texas A&M and of course Tennessee on his list.

Arizona is just the second Pac-12 program to offer him, but he will have the opportunity to play in really every region in the country. There is a certain intensity he plays the game with that is impressive to watch on film. He does a very good job of shedding blocks and getting in the backfield and is really what you want in a high-level defensive end recruit.

The in-state SEC school is obviously going to be a factor in his recruitment as could another one with a visit to Vanderbilt already taking place in the fall as well. However, he is set to visit Florida soon and is looking at options away from home as well. The first hurdle for UA to get over in his recruitment is getting him out for a visit. That will be no easy task, but the coaching staff continues to show confidence as it branches out into some new locales.

Another newer area this coaching staff has been taking a deeper dive into has been St. Louis and earlier this week another new offer in the region with Cardinal Ritter College Prep standout Joe Moore III adding the Wildcats to his growing list. Arizona kept with its theme with the 6-foot-4 recruit as he is another versatile defensive end who has now reached double-digit offers. The Wildcats became the fourth Power Five school to offer Moore, but are the first Pac-12 program to do so. He does have another West Coast offer from San Diego State with interest coming in from a number of other programs.

Iowa, Iowa State and Kansas are his other Power Five offers.

Moore is another standup defensive end who has plenty of speed and that shows up on his film. He definitely has a knack for getting into the backfield to make plays and finished with 88 tackles in the 2018 season. He also plays on the offensive line at tackle while Wisconsin is interested in him if he can show an ability to make the move to outside linebacker. So there is still a long way to go in his recruitment, but now he has the option of playing out West. So far his visits have been closer to home with programs in the Midwest having his attention.
