As is typical for a Monday there was a lot of news (or non-news in some cases) to get to so I tried to put everything substantial in one place. Here's a quick rundown of what Kevin Sumlin had to say about the status of Khalil Tate and JJ Taylor, Grant Gunnell as he won the Pac-12's freshman of the week award and his thoughts on the bill signed by California Gov. Gavin Newsom that will allow college athletes to profit off their likeness while still in school. Plus, there is an update from Colorado where Mel Tucker gave an update on his injured stars Laviska Shenault and Mustafa Johnson.

tl;dr

- No status change for Tate or Taylor as of today
- Grant Gunnell won Pac-12 Freshman of the Week
- Shenault and Johnson will be game-time decisions for CU
- Sumlin declines to comment on new California measure that will allow players to profit from their likeness
