I've been going back and forth with John Kenny since he announced his decision, but he made some time to talk with me today. I added some of his comments about the transfer from Iowa to the War Room, but as I mentioned there it was just not the right fit for him there and he wanted a fresh start and Arizona was the school that fit him best.
He was careful what he said about the situation at Iowa, but moving him around this spring and some uncertainty about how he really fit in led to his decision. He told me his trip to Tucson back in high school was his favorite but at that time he felt playing close to home was his best decision. He said now it is more about being able to contribute and play for a coaching staff he really likes that made UA an easy decision for him.
