Arizona redshirt freshman Keenan Walker is leaving the program. After tearing his ACL in an all-star game it started the spiral of what would be a short UA career. He greyshirted and just came to campus last spring, but then he ran into off-the-field issues and more injury problems that never let him get on the field. He was hurt for some of spring ball and still facing some disciplinary issues and it just made sense to part ways with the program. This was not necessarily all his decision from the sounds of it.

This spring when he was on the field he was running with the third unit that wasn't even complete and featured walk-on players. He was way back on the depth chart and the chances he played this year were very, very slim. Walker had some temper issues that showed on the field at times (I watched him get kicked out of a high school game for stomping on a player on the sidelines) but with Charlie Ragle on staff the Wildcats felt it was controllable enough that his talent outweighed any issues.

So this was a multilayered decision, but he will no longer be with UA moving forward.
