Five-star Texas guard De'Aaron Fox cancelled his trip to Arizona last night. The plan was for the 2016 prospect to use his final official visit on a trip to Tucson as the Wildcats came back into the picture late in the summer. Fox had UA in for an in-home visit last month and that's when Sean Miller and his staff locked in an official trip from the point guard recruit.
However, now that he has taken a couple trips with a couple more to go Fox has decided to cancel the trip to UA. At this point he has trips to Kentucky and Kansas coming up and those two have been the favorites for some time now. Kansas was the favorite until Kentucky offered late in the summer. At this stage I would expect he lands at Kentucky as all signs are pointing in that direction.
Either way it's just another road block for Arizona in putting its class together and another prospect looking elsewhere.
