I mentioned this after the open practice a couple Saturdays ago, but I noticed Arizona playing more than just its usual two cornerbacks on the field at the same time when it had its first unit on the field. I thought it was maybe just a different look, but it turns out it is more permanent than that for the time being. Dane Cruikshank was the one Arizona was using in a different spot and has continued to use in a different spot in camp. Right now he is playing the "spur" position since Tristan Cooper has been hurt. It gives Arizona a different look and the other side to that coin is that some of Arizona's younger corners have improved. Lorenzo Burns is the one who has slid into the spot normally occupied by Cruikshank and there have been some others who have put together good camps.

It's an interesting move and it will be even more interesting to see how long it stays like that and how permanent it becomes for Cruikshank.
