I was thinking of the long term future of theArizona program as far as coaching goes.What would it take to find a coach that the city of Tucson could rally around?I think a lot of people would like to see some alumni come in here that checks a lot of boxes and most importantly would want to be here.Fans always talk about Ricky Huntley,Chuck Cecil,etc.These days that young coach is probably what it takes to bring in the recruiting which we all know is the end all be all of all programs.
It might not be something that happens in the near future,but I am starting to think that BJ Denker might be someone to keep an eye on.How nice would it be to have a smart young guy that wants to be here,maybe not rushing to find the next gig.I for one will be keeping an eye to see how his careeer progresses.
