...because it feels like forever ago when there was optimism for Arizona football. I have enjoyed watching the team over these past two games. Tate is an amazing talent and I am really trying to weather my expectations because he and this team are young and they are going to have their struggles but I love their fight.

...because if Tate is the QB and we get a receiver that can get separation on a consistent basis Tate might be throwing for 300 yards and rushing for 200 yards. Please football recruiting gods send a tall, strong speedster (or two, three would be enough) to see how far Tate can throw the ball.

... because as much as I am enjoying this year my optimism about next year is starting to grow by leaps and bounds. Tyrell Johnson, Dane Cruikshank, Brandon Rutt, Shawn Poindexter, Nick Wilson, Deandre Miller, Layth Friekh, Luca Bruno, Gerhard De Beer, Jacob Alsadek and Parker Zellers are the only seniors that receive significant playing time. However, next year the defense should again be better (maybe by leaps and bounds)., Tilford will have another year along with Taylor to get stronger at the RB position. All the receivers are back except Poindexter with some tall lanky ones coming off of redshirt.

...on how the tide can turn in the court of public opinion. Yesterday it was, "I want RichRod's head!". Today it is, "Holy crap, we can run the table and if Tate was starting we could have an undefeated season." Again, I am enjoying the ride and the uptick in both performance and level of play but remember we are still very young. 8-4 would be spectacular for this year and is now more possible than ever.

...if Chuck Cecil and B.J. Denker have this effect on a team what is to stop them from taking over the world and if so, would that be a bad thing?

...how good Marcel Yates could be when he has all of the players he wants.

...how good this offense is when a QB like Tate is running the show. Let's be honest, the other skill players are good players but none of them are (at this point) getting drafted and playing at the next level. If I was a receiver with NFL talent and Arizona came knocking right now with Tate at QB I would seriously think about committing as quickly as possible. You now put one or two receivers with that kind of talent into this offense it really opens up and is unstoppable.

...that I have watched the Colorado and UCLA highlights at least twice a day every day. What is wrong with me?

...that this post has gone on too long. I am out (mic drop).
