The basketball travel season is in full swing now, and even though coaches can't watch the games there are still plenty of events taking place throughout the country. The Nike EYBL and the Adidas Gauntlet events are the two bigger leagues out there right now and of course that means Arizona targets and commits are on the road playing for their respective teams as well.

Here's a look at how some of the bigger 2015 Arizona targets performed over the weekend in Hampton, Va. (EYBL) and Indianapolis, Ind. (Adidas).

Commits

Justin Simon: The recent Arizona commit's Gamepoint squad recently added four-star forward Bennie Boatwright into the mix and that has changed things some and helped take some of the scoring load off of Simon. However, the Temecula (Calif.) Temecula Valley recruit still made a big impact for his team over the weekend. Simon got things started with big-time performance in a close loss as he finished with 13 points, 13 rebounds, and six assists. He also had three blocks and five steals in that game. He followed that up with another solid performance of 15 points and five rebounds.

In Gamepoint's next contest the four-star recruit had another all-around effort with 19 points, six rebounds, and eight assists in a win. He followed that up with 20 more points in a close loss. He also had five assists in that game. The future Wildcat wrapped up the weekend with another 20-point game to go with seven rebounds and seven assists.

Tyler Dorsey: The first commit in Arizona's 2015 class has had himself a nice spring once again playing with the DreamVision squad that features plenty of other talented players. Alongside guys like Ray Smith and Chase Jeter, the five-star recruit is still able to get his own when it comes to filling the stat sheet. In his team's first game Dorsey score 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds in a win. He followed that up with huge 31-point, nine-rebound performance in a big win for his squad. Dorsey hit 11 of his 13 shots in that game.

After that Dorsey cooled off somewhat, but he still had a solid showing with 15 points and five assists for DreamVision. On the final day of action Dorsey got things started with a great showing from the free-throw line as he knocked down 13 of his 14 attempts from the line to finish with 18 points as well as three rebounds. He did have five turnovers in that game, however. Dorsey wrapped up the weekend with yet another big scoring burst as he finished with 32 points to go with four assists. He knocked down five shots from behind the 3-point line.

Targets

Ray Smith: The four-star wing recently trimmed his list that included (to no surprise, really) Arizona, and he continued to have a solid spring with DreamVision. In his team's first game Smith scored 11 points and pulled down four rebounds in 23 minutes of action. He followed that up with a 13-point, three-rebound effort in another big win for DreamVision. After that he knocked down seven of his 10 shot attempts including three 3-pointers to get up to 20 points to go along with three rebounds. In DreamVision's fourth game of the weekend in Indy Smith scored 19 points to go with four rebounds and a couple of assists.

The big-time Arizona target finished off the weekend with a 12-point, two-rebound showing in yet another big win for DreamVision.

Chase Jeter: The five-star big man recruit from Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman has been working his way back from injury for part of the spring, but he exploded over the weekend with DreamVision. Jeter got things started off with a 31-point, 11-rebound game in just 21 minutes of action. He continued the hot streak with another double-double this time finishing with 16 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists. The big man continued his tear on the weekend with another strong performance in DreamVision's third game as he finished with 26 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists.

On the last day of action didn't cool off as he yet again had another double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. He finished out the weekend with another win and a near double-double as he scored 27 points and pulled down nine rebounds.

Ivan Rabb: The five-star big man is one half of the Oakland Soldiers' big-time front court duo, and he has continued to have an impressive spring on the Nike circuit. Rabb once again posted impressive stats at the league's third stop of the season in Hampton over the weekend. In the team's first game Rabb led the game with 22 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Alabama Challenge. He followed that up with four points and seven rebounds in a low-scoring win for the Soldiers. On the second day of action Rabb was able to get back to a double-double as he finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds in a win.

The high-priority Arizona target finished out the weekend with another double-double as he scored 16 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in a close loss to Playground Elite.

Stephen Zimmerman: Now into his third EYBL session with the Oakland Soldiers, the 7-footer from Las Vegas has started to acclimate himself to his new team and playing alongside Rabb. Zimmerman's scoring output has started to improve as the weeks have gone on and that continued last weekend in Hampton. In the team's first game pitched in with 13 points and six rebounds, and he followed that up with a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds for the Soldiers.

On the second day of action the big man kept it going 12 more points and nine more rebounds in a win over the Georgia Stars. Zimmerman capped the weekend with nine points and 12 rebounds in just 15 minutes of action in the loss to Playground Elite.

This weekend will once again be a busy weekend on the travel ball circuit, so stay tuned for more updates from the various events.
