Arizona has made four-star 2023 forward Matas Buzelis a priority in the class so far. The versatile prospect from Chicago plays in New Hampshire at Brewster Academy, and the Wildcats have been out to campus multiple times during the recruiting period to check in on the top-30 prospect. Arizona sent its coaches there again today as the staff continues to try and get the 6-foot-8 recruit down to Tucson for a visit. He just took an official visit to Florida State last weekend.

Below is a clip of Buzelis during his open gym session today at Brewster. I watched him in the spring and he has all the tools to be a highly-effective player at the college level. He handles the ball well for his size and he can play well in transition, which is a natural fit for what Tommy Lloyd wants to do. He's going to continue to be a high priority for the staff until he makes a commitment.

Buzelis was born in Chicago but his family is from Lithuania, so there is an international connection overseas for the UA target. That is obviously something that could come into play down the road with the Wildcats having both Lithuanian-born players Azuolas and Tautvilas Tubelis on the roster right now.
